No, using your breakdown cover does not count as an insurance claim. In the event of an accident where we assist you would need to contact your insurer. Breakdown cover is a separate service that's there to help you when your car won't cooperate - not something that affects your main car insurance policy. 

We have a 24 hour period from the start of your policy where you are unable to make a claim, after 24 hours you are covered in full. If you've already broken down, or in the unfortunate event you breakdown in the first 24 hours, you can still get help on a pay on use basis.
